The Brazilian Adventure: Week 64 August 18 -- August 24
My Dearest beloved Family and Friends:
So one thing that I am learning how to do a little is to feel and follow the spirit. I got a lot to learn but I know  with  practice that I will get good at it. My companion  had a good experience this last week with following the spirit when we were on splits. We were waiting at church for the relief society president to plan for a missionary activity. But she didn´t end up coming. While we were there, there was seminary class going on. When we were about to leave, the seminary class ended. And the seminary class teacher left running out. My  companion, Elder G. Fernandes, then asked the students how seminary class went. They said that today went bad because the students were making fun of the teacher and doing dumb things, and the teacher went out crying. After that talk, my companion started to feel like he should go over to the  seminary teachers house and talk to her. But the missionary that  was with him told him that they should just drop it and that it is member problems. My companion then remembered that we were trying to follow the spirit more in our mission and we should  follow what ever feeling that we have right away. He then just took the  courage and went. They got there and left a great message with the lady and  my companion    didn´t even know what was coming out of his mouth and it was really good for her and she felt a lot better. and her daughter was happy. Before the missionaries left, the daughter told them that before that they came, she was praying that God would help her mom and then when she said amen, the missionaries knocked at the door. We are having a lot of great miracles that are happening on the mission it is so cool. I know that  God answers prayers.
Elder Felix got emergencies transferred because of his knees. we have now Elder C. Santos. he has 1 year and 9 months, he use to be a zone leader for a long time and so I'am excited to learn from him.
I hope you are all doing great. I love my mission. It is going great. I have  been learning some more patients and just waiting for the lords time and will.
Be happy

The Brazilian Adventure: Week 62 August 4 -- August 10
My Dearest beloved Family and Friends:
I don´t have much time today. I had some e-mail from some converts that I was writing to. I got news that an Investigator that we left behind ended up getting baptised! it was Alexia! I was so happy to hear that. She is so happy, and she is doing good. She is going to start going to seminary soon. She is so awesome.
I have been leraning a lot of patients in this new area. It is supper hard. But my faith has been growing. I´m learning a great lesson on how the Lord knows best for us. "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9 The Lord knows what is going on, even though I don´t understand why, he knows and I just got to continue with patients and endure well. The general conference talk of President Uchdorf helped me out a lot. I love the gospel.
I hope you are all doing great. I love you all. thanks for the support and prayers.
Be happy.

The Brazilian Adventure: Week 61 July 28 -- August 3
My Dearest beloved Family and Friends:
Wow, our mission President is so amazing. He is truely an inspired man from god. I love President Dalton. He is helping us do some great  things. He is helping us have such a greater vision which is the temple. Baptism is just a step of what we are going to help our investigators do. The temple is where we are heading with them. Our president is such a spiritual man. He told of such great experiences that has happened to him on his mission. Some that I don´t think that I could say in public, but they are so amazing.
So we are doing supper great in our zone. We are trying to teach the missionaries how to fallow the spirit and work on their own. Many times the missionaries call us with problems, and we are trying to teach them how to solve their problems. We are also trying to teach them to listen to the spirit and fallow it. It is very hard to develope that skill, but we are having some interesting experiences. For example, on time we were talking to a member at her house and for some reason. We felt prompted to ask her who does she knows who live near by and who were taught by the missionaries before but didn´t get baptised. The lady thought for a while and then she gave us a name of some one near by. We then went directly to this house to contact this person, we went up to the house and we began to call her. We ended up calling her 3 times and we waited for a long time and nothing happen. and so we just thought no one would answer. But then I felt prompted to call one more time. And I thought that it was not necessary and the missionary who I was with, Elder Felix, thought the same. But then I fallowed the feeling and shouted for the person again. And then a man looked out the window and told us that she is coming. Then The young lady walked out and we talked to her. It  turns out that the missionaries taught her 5 years ago but then she went on a trip and the missionaries lost track of her. It just happens that she was feeling like going back to church this week and then we appeared at her door. Something else, it turns out that she read the WHOLE book of mormon and has a few questions. Yesturday she went to church. That is just an example. It was a miracle. I´m learning how to fallow the spirit, but it is hard.
I Love you all so much. I hope you are doing great.
Be happy
