The Brazilian Adventure: Week 68 September 15 -- September 21
My Dearest beloved Family and Friends:
So my trainy is loosing all that Missionary Traning Ceneter weight (fat). And he is beggining to adapt supper well to the missionary work. I love new missionaries, they have so much faith.
So it is so interesting, I´m learning some great things about faith. It is amazing how deep this simple word can be. I need to work a lot more on my faith. So we are having a great time using the spirit to find the elect. So one time me and my companion were looking for a contact at an apartment building, we had two stair cases to choose from. We both looked at each other and I asked him what side he was he feeling to go. He pointed to the left and I told him that I was feeling that side also. So we begun to go up the stairs and then a lady came out of her apartment, I felt a prompting to speak to her so then I opened my mouth and begun to do a contact with her. She said that we coulthe next day. We then continue to look for the person that we were looking for, but we went on the wrong side of the stair case and we then went to the other side and found who we were looking for. This ladies name is Maria who we found going to the left side.  We found her on Friday and she came to church the next Sunday. And she has been having dreams lattly of he family that have already past away and she has never dreamed with them before. She has also been having dreams of the temple before we spoke about it. We then taught her about the temple and what we can do there and we told her and explained how her family wants her to go to the temple and do the work for them. She now wants to get baptised so that she can help them.
Hope you are all doing great! Love you all
Be happy!

The Brazilian Adventure: Week 67 September 8 -- September 14
My Dearest beloved Family and Friends:
Don´t have alot of time. This week was supper great. So I have  been putting something in practice that our president has been teaching us. He is trying to teach us  about following the  spirit and it is supper hard. But we have been seeing miracles. we have found two  elects in the strangest ways. We just have to continue and we are going to get really good at this.
There is a dog  at our house that keeps getting my socks when they are drying and he keeps tearing them up. I´m so lucky that you guys have been sending me some socks. thank you so much.

The Brazilian Adventure: Week 66 September 1 -- September 7
My Dearest beloved Family and Friends:
My new son is from Fortaleza Ceará, the same place were my dad is from down here in Brazil. He is a great missionary. His name is Elder Queiroz. I Love training. I Love going through the Training program again. There are so many great things in there.
So our mission President is trying really hard to teach us how to follow the spirit. I´m trying to be obedient to this but it is suppper hard. Following the spirit is like trying to learn a new language, and this language is hard. During this week I have been frustrated a few times because we have been loosing a lot of great investigators and it has been tough. But then I realised that I was just being a baby and I need to repent and do better and have a better attitude. As a missionary, you get to see so many things that most people dont see. We see all these families getting destroied by Satan and it is so sad. There are times when I think that he already has such a great hold on them that it is impossible to help them. But NO! They need us and they need what we got. we have to keep fighting and we have to keep trying to help them. I´m trying to learn how to use my faith as a principle of power. But it is tough. with time I´ll figure it out.
I hope you are all doing awesome.
Be happy.

The Brazilian Adventure: Week 65 August 25 -- August 31
My Dearest beloved Family and Friends:
I can´t believe that another transfer has ended. Time is flying. So transfer calls came in this week. My companion Elder G. Fernandes has been transfered. And I will be staying. It is going to be sad wathching him leave. Normally on the mission when we get calls for transfers, we get calls from the missionaries from the secretary. When we get called to be a leader, we get called to by the assisstants to the presidents. Well last night, I got a call from President Dalton. He told me something like this "Elder Jones, do remember when I said that I would fallow the counsil of the apostles and the presidency of the church and call my best missionaries to train new missinaries" with shock and confussion knowing what would come next I answered "Yes president, I remember" Then he said "Well I have called 6 missionaries and released some missionaries from being Zone leaders and District Leaders so that they can train well and you are one of them, will you accept that call?" again I was shocked, but I responded "Yes president, I will, if that is what the Lord wants, then yes I will be honored to train." He then thanked me. And started to tell me about how he has heared from the assisstants and other missionaries about my obedience. They say that I am the most obedient missionary in the mission. President Dalton said that he wants this new missionary to be exactly like me.  I was surprise about that also. So I will be ending with 8 months of being a district leader, it was a lot of fun and I learned a lot. I´m honored to be able to train again. I love to train! This is going to be my 4th son! by the way, this week I went to a meeting in another ward in the mission because some one in my district had to go and when I was there, I saw my nephew and my son Elder Cifuentes. It was awesome.
Yesturday we did a great training with the Relief society. It was awesome. We also gave a training to members of how to do missionary work. This week in our ward the missionaries baptised a great family. Yesturday the Bishop asked me to give a talk at the end of sacrament meeting and I just bared my tetimony and gave my story. Every said that they loved it and everyone was crying. I don´t know how it happens but I´m happy the spirit helps me out. The Bishop and ward are really starting to like us a whole lot. I´m excited for this next transfer.
This week I did a baptism interview for a family of 4 in  my district and it was so awesome. One of the daughters chose me to baptise her and it was supper sweet. The dad is so sweet. He has such great energy. He said that he wants to go back to a little small town where he is from and create a branch there to help his family.
I love this mission. I hope you are all doing good.
