The Brazilian Adventure: Week 97 April 13th  -- April 19th
My Dearest beloved Family and Friends:
This week we went to the Temple and it was awesome like always. I love going to the temple. It is such a sacred place and I can feel the spirit of the Lord so much there. We did all the ordinaces in one day. It was awesome.
On Thursday, we did a service project for the Less active that we are trying to help come back to church, Thalita. We scraped off the the paint and the weak parts off her cieling so that it can be ready for painting and texture. She also asked us if we can brake up a bed and a couch, so that we can throw it all away. She was very thankful. She has been changing a lot. I feel a better spirit with her. She is starting to look for a job and is trying to finish school.
Friday night, I saw one of my converts from my old area in Primavera. I saw Viviane. It was so awesome. I baptised her when she was preganant. And now she has a little baby and I saw him. He was a cute little guy. When she was having her baby, she had a lot of problems. At first she couldn´t have her child the normal way. So they had to cut open her stomach opento take the baby out. She said that they both almost died. But they came out ok. I was so happy to hear that. She has been working on some sundays, and hasn´t been going to church sometimes. But I spoke to her and told her that she has to be coming back. But her family has been strugling lately. But I think that it is all going to work out. It was so great to see her.
The work is going good here. Elder Vitoria and I and jamming. I love living in the same house as Elder Gutirrez. He is so funny. He doesn´t try to be,  but just the way he is is so funny. You know those kind of people. He is really calm always. And sometimes he does or say some random funny stuff.
I´m doing good. I´ll be praying for you all and especially for Uncle Parece.
Be happy

The Brazilian Adventure: Week 96 April 6th  -- April 12th
My Dearest beloved Family and Friends:
Last week we had another Super P-day. It is so awesome. We played some great basketball. Elder Dean is in our zone now, he is a zone leader. He plays very well. The Brazilians playing basketball, is like the Americans playing soccer. It is just bad. There were so many air balls. Many made a lot of goals with the basketball in the soccer net under the basketball hoop, and they would get a little excited. Elder Almeida, my old Zone leader in Primavera, would scream GOOOAALLL!! Afterward we did this little secret chocolate friend for easter. It was great.
I got so much chocolate this week. I have not been doing so good with my stomach. This one night, we had some investigators who gave us a PIZZA for FREE!! and half of it was filled with chocolate. It was so good.
We have been progressing real well with this family of Irene. They love us. (They were the one´s who gave us the pizza.) The teenagers of this family walked to church this week all by themselves. It is a walk of about 50 minutes for them. They liked church a lot. This sunday we also helped a less active named Thalita come back this sunday. She lives with her little daughter named Alanis, who was baptised about 4 months ago. We have been helping Thalita to come back to church for a long time now. This we week, we gave her a blessing and dedicated her house. She was onced cursed from some mancumberos ( people who mess with bad spirits.), and has always felt a bad spirit with her. But then we gave her this blessing and she felt better. In her house, Back in the day, was used to sell a lot of drugs while she lived there. She got into a lot of stuff. She was telling us a whole lot of other things and it was getting intense. And we told her to slow down and that she needs to save this stuff for the bishop so that he can help you with the repentance process. It is crazy what people tell us sometimes. People just feel to much confidence with us and they tell us everything about their life. It is crazy what I have already heard. She is a great women, and her daughter and her have great potencial in life.
I love you all so much. I hope you all are doing great.
Be happy

The Brazilian Adventure: Week 95 March 30th  -- April 5th
My Dearest beloved Family and Friends:
We have been teaching this great family of about 7 people. And it is going really good. The parents, Roberto and Irene, have to get married and they also work on Sundays, and we are working with that. There is also a son in law who is together with one of there daughters, Tachiana and Gilmar, and they have 2 little kids. They also have to get married. And then there are 3 other of there teenagers named Nayane 17, allan 14 and Ruam 12. This family is awesome. The other day we taught about the word of wisdom and almost all have great problems with this. Gilmar, he smokes about 10 cigaretes a day. The next day after we taught this comandment, he only smoked 1. That day we gave him a blessing and the next day he lighted another cigerate to smoke it. When he took the first breath, he had a huge feeling to throw up and the cigerate was terrible. He said that he will never smoke again. It is amzing how the Lord does his work. That day we taught about the Law of chasity and about how we need to respect our bodies and men shouldn´t have ears pierced. The next day Allan took out his piercing. That was great too. They went to conference this Saturday and loved it. They are going good.
I loved General Conference. I loved the Story from Jeffery R. Holland about the two brothers free climbing up the canon. It reminded me a lot of all my brothers. I began to cry when I heard that story. It was so intense. The younger brother was really smart to know that the older one would jump and was really strong to have been able to catch him in the perfect time. That story also reminded me of an experience that I onced had with Mike Shumaker and Bradley (Leroy´s Brother). Man that was intense. I´m thankful that Mike got out of that ok.
These days. Elder Moraes and I have been running every morning and doing some intense exercises. We have been getting up 30 minutes earlier. It is going great. Feeling good. I can probaly go back and play some Football with Stanley. And tackle him. haha
I´m good. Love you.
Be :)
