The Brazilian Adventure: Week 16 September 16-- September 22
My Dearest beloved Family and Friends
Wow, I can´t believe I´m already writing another weekly letter. I swear these weeks are starting to fly. It is going by fast. And I can´t believe that General conference is just around the corner. I´m so excited for that. This week we were able to go to the Sao Paulo temple last thursday. It was so awesome. The temple was so nice inside and out. It was really nice to get a spiritual boost. The temple is outside our mission, I´ve heard that we rarely get to go. Probably about three to six months at a time. So I'm pretty lucky to be able to go. It was so nice. I love going to the temple. It is so peaceful there.
My paps here is starting to throw a lot of responsibility on me and the pressure is on. Because he is district leader, I´m actually the "boss" missionary of our area. And so he is expecting me to do a lot. It is supper hard and frustrating at times, but I´m learning so much so fast. It is awesome. This week we went on exchanges again with the zone leaders. I was companions with Elder Eliott, a white guy form Utah. He is a beast at missionary work. He really knows how to just work like crazy. We walk up to someone on the street together, and start talking to them about the gospel, and when I start talking he sees someone else walking by and leaves me and starts talking to them. It is so cool. I hope I can be like him one day. He is so good at talking in protugese too. haha it was funny one time. We saw this guy walking towards us but when he notice us he started walking faster. And then when we started talking to him, the man just started running and he ran right past us and blurted something out that I wouldn't´t understand, and he literally ran away from us. It was kinda funny. I´ve had something like that happen to me before. We have a lot of supper good missionaries in our mission. It is so amazing. They are all such great examples to me. They are all such great hard working missionaries. I love it.
So I just found out that they changed the mission address about 5 months ago. So this is my new mission address for letters
